David Porter

David Porter served as the director for Leach Botanical Garden, the End of the Oregon Trail, Portland's Pioneer Courthouse Square, and the Northwest Service Center. He has written for Portland Review, Oregon magazine, Willamette Week, and is the author of Clearing the Sky of Thickets (1919). A longtime volunteer on the Oregon Historical Marker Committee, he has been an officer of the Oregon Museums Association, the Western Museums Association, and the Oregon Travel Information Council.
