Roy Davis

Roy Davis received a B.A. in Physical Education, with a minor in English Literature and M.A. from University of California, Berkeley in 1962. He was an English and Physical Education high school teacher in Santa Clara and Freemont, California from 1962 to 1966 and taught high school physical education in Okinawa and Fuchu, Japan with the Department of Defense Overseas Dependent Schools. Davis founded and owned the Gymnastics Club in Palo Alto from 1971 to 1989. He is the author of several articles on gymnastics judging in the Modern Gymnast Magazine (1965-1969) and is a member of the National Gymnastics Judge’s Hall of Fame. From 1994 to 2003, Davis worked as a Rogue Valley realtor and real estate investor and lived near Jacksonville.
