Kristine Deacon
Kristine Deacon is a retired newspaper journalist who worked for the Bend Bulletin, the Statesman-Journal, and the Sacramento Bee. She holds a B.A. and M.S. from the University of Oregon School of Journalism. Now a historian and lecturer, she specializes in Oregon history. The Oregon Heritage Commission named her a Standout Heritage Volunteer in 2022, in part for her work processing Cecil Edwards's records.
